Detailed Personality

Neon generally has a shy disposition, being quiet and often a bit unwilling to talk once he first meets someone-- especially to a human person. In fact, he's usually bitter and rude to humans who come into his home space. However, he is actually quite an intelligent, educated, and quick-witted person who can be quite caring... sometimes. That said he's still generally soft-spoken and has trust issues in general, once again, especially concerning those who are human. He cries easily when facing serious emotional conflict, especially when he can feel powerful anger, although he usually tries to hide it.

Once he feels comfortable with someone, he can be very sharp-tongued but also playful and is sometimes willing to open up about how he feels. Given time to heal or when he really needs to, he can be quite a determined person who is bold and ready to stand up. When it comes to those he's loyal to, he's incredibly protective and can border on posessive.

Satori

As a Satori, Neon is able to see into the hearts and minds of human beings or beings with human consciousness (exceptions being for those who have taken measures to not be read, which would be discussed in/before RP). The extent to which he can see varies from person to person, although surface thoughts (what a person is thinking at the moment) will nearly always be visible. In fact, it may be hard for him to block them out if they're very strong thoughts/feelings because he's inexperienced. He can feel a person's emotional aura as well.

While Neon does have this sort of second sight, his primary sight-- his eyesight-- is compromised, as is with most Satori. Because of this he has to wear enchanted spectacles made by Satori and is nearly blind without them. However, without them he is able to see colored auras of the emotions of others even if their figures are blurry. He has a spare pair but he has yet to find other Satori villages where he could buy them from due to human violence against them.

In some situations, he can completely immerse himself inside the mind of someone else. When he does this, his eyes will turn entirely silver rather than just the iris and he'll be nearly unresponsive to unextreme outside stimuli.
